This is the second time that Billy Burke has starred in a screen adaptation of a novel by James Patterson; he also played a minor role in 'Along Came a Spider'. Coincidentally, both times, he played characters that were not in the novels.

'Zoo' was the most watched scripted summer series of 2015 in the US.
