'Nana' trivia and fun facts
The success of the animated series and manga caused two live-action films of 'Nana', the second film a closed ending and different concept for the author, Ai Yazawa thought in her mind.
Such was the public reception of 'Nana', three video games based on the series were created. The first was produced by Konami for PS2 and released in March 2005. Another for PSP, 'Nana: Subete wa Daimoau no Omichibiki!?' was published in July 2006. For Nintendo DS was released 'Nana: Live Staff Daiboshuu! Shoshinsha Kangei!' in June 2007.
The author of the manga, Ai Yazawa, became seriously ill in late 2009 and, therefore, 'Nana' manga was not a closed ending, leaving the graphic novel without end. In April 2010 it was reported that Yazawa should continue recuperating at home, causing, today, 'Nana' has no clear end. By extension, this also affected anime TV series, which has an open end for a possible second season.
