'Lucifer' trivia and fun facts

Based on the DC Comic character Lucifer Morningstar from the comic 'Sandman'.

The name of Lucifer's bar is "Lux" which is Latin for light, as also the prefix and etymology of "Lucifer" (the light bearer).

The incidental music all references god, hell or the devil.

Kevin Alejandro replaced Nicholas Gonzalez as Dan after the pilot.

In the comic the main characters' appearances differ greatly from the show. Maze is drawn with white skin and no flesh on half of her face. Amenadiel is also white and appears much older. And Lucifer himself was drawn, under strict instructions from Neil Gaiman, to look like David Bowie.
