Saga Pokémon

Pokémon is a video games franchise created in 1996 that also has expanded to the cinema, TV series, etc. Beyond that, it is a social phenomenon born in Japan but present throughout the world. Since April 1, 1997, anime TV series began to be broadcast, being a success worldwide. On July 18, 1998 came 'Pokémon, the First Movie', the first film of Pokémon film franchise. Since then, a feature film premieres every year with the characters of the series, which does not affect the plot of anime TV series. In each movie, there are one or more legendary Pokémon as protagonists, as well as other hard-to-find Pokémon like Lucario or Zoroark. In this way, 'Pokémon' has become one of the most stable and profitable film sagas in Japan along with 'Case Closed', 'Fullmetal Alchemist', 'Doraemon' or 'Crayon Shin-chan'. A franchise with Ash Ketchum and Pikachu like principal main roles but in which also have been seen characters like Brock, Misty, Tracey, May or Dawn.
