Saga Olympus Has Fallen

'Olympus Has Fallen' is an action film directed by Antoine Fuqua. It's played by Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman and tells the story of Mike Banning, the Secret Service agent who does everything possible to stop a rebel assault on North Korea to the US White House.

The film premiered in Spain on 10 May 2013. The first film focuses on Mike Banning, a former Special Forces soldier working for Benjamin Asher, the President of the United States as a secret agent. One night, Asher is escorted to a fundraising campaign, but the trip has an accident. Still, Banning manages to save Asher, but not his wife Margaret. Later, during a meeting Asher with Prime Minister of South Korea, Lee Tae Woo, terrorists disrupt them and besiege the White House. President and some officials remain hostage in the bunker of the White House. Banning will have to do everything possible to save them.

'London Has Fallen' is the film's sequel. Again it stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman. This time the story is set in the Philippines where an arms dealer behind several attacks in the world. After what happened in the first film, Mike Banning plans to leave the secret service for his family, his wife Leah (Radha Mitchell) and his son. But the terrorists manage to kill the British Prime Minister and after that Banning again intervene to save the world. In Spain the film was released on April 8, 2016.
