Saga Mission: Impossible

The saga starring the secret agent Ethan Hunt, played by actor Tom Cruise, was born in the late 90s with the film directed by Brian De Palma 'Mission Impossible'. Bruce Geller creator of the television series, was part of the team of screenwriters that marked the beginning of a saga that has already 6 films. Since then directors like John Woo, J.J. Abrams, Brad Bird and Christopher McQuarrie has been put in charge of Hunt's missions.

Besides Tom Cruise, there are other stars who have spent years playing his character, such as Ving Rhames who plays Luther or Simon Pegg, Benji Dunn in the saga.

Cruise, who remains the leading star although in the third installment seemed that his life as a field agent was over, really involves himself in the shooting of each of the films. The actor never hesitate about rolling most of the stunts, including those requiring him hanging from buildings, planes or cliffs.
