Saga Marvel Cinematic Universe
Marvel Cinematic Universe is formed by all the movies produced by Marvel Studios which share the same fictional universe and their stories, based on their comics, intertwine. In 2005 Marvel Studios created this to be able to produce their own movies maintaining all the creative rights on the production and the distribution of their superheroes movies. They don't own the rights of some of their most iconic characters like the 'X-Men' or 'Spiderman'. Marvel Studios belongs to the Walt Disney Company since 2009.
The first movie of this Cinematic Universe was 'Iron Man', directed by Jon Favreau in 2008 starting what they would call the 'Phase One' finishing with Joss Wheldon's 'The Avengers'. The 'Phase Two' started with 'Iron Man 3' in 2013 and finished with 'Ant-Man' in 2015.
'Phase Three' will begin in 2016 with the premiere of 'Captain America: Civil War'.
Marvel Cinematic Universe also includes the production of TV series such as 'Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D' and 'Marvel's Agent Carter', which share the same fictional universe.
