Saga Lethal Weapon

Murtaugh (Danny Glover) and Riggs (Mel Gibson) grumbled when they realized that they need to join forces to stop a band of smugglers, but after that first adventure in 'Lethal Weapon' the two veterans do not hesitate to team up in three more movies.

After 120 million raised by the first part worldwide, 'Lethal Weapon 2' was halfway cut out to be a success, and did not disappoint, raising more than 200 million with a plot centered in prevent some South African diplomats involved in criminal matters, of getting immunity. In the third and fourth installment, the same formula continued, with Riggs and Murtaugh, unite against crime and the passage of time, which ends up taking its toll until the age and personal crisis of the protagonists put an end to the saga with 'Lethal Weapon 4'.

Richard Donner ('The Goonies', 'Maverick') is responsible for directing these four films in which also stars Joe Pesci, Rene Russo, Chris Rock and Jet Li among others.
