Saga Harry Potter
The 'Harry Potter' saga is the film adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's literary work about a famous young wizard named Harry Potter who defeated Lord Voldermort when he was just a baby. At age 11 he receives a letter to study in Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where all his adventures would begin.
Those seven books were made into eight films:
- 'Harry Potter and the the Sorcerer's Stone' in 2001 and 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' in 2002 directed by Chris Columbus.
- 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' in 2004 directed by Alfonso Cuarón.
- 'Harry Potter and the Globet of Fire' in 2005 directed by Mike Newell.
- 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' in 2007. 'Harry Potter and the the Half-Blood Prince' in 2009 and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2' in 2010 and 201, respectively all directed by David Yates.
This magical saga has a worldwide gross of over 7 billion dollars.
Nowadays David Yates has been casted as the director of Harry Potter's spin-off 'Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them' in which Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell and Katherine Waterson among other will star in it.
