Akira Toriyama's manga 'Dragon Ball', born predisposed for the win, breaking records since its print edition, of which 230 million copies were sold worldwide, being one of the most successful titles of Shueisha. There was also an adaptation to the small screen with which it achieved very good audience data on Cartoon Network. So this manga, considered one of the most popular and influential, was destined to make a career on the big screen with his history of the saiyajin warrior. The protagonist, Goku and his friends, who fought to protect the land from any threat with the help of the magical spheres, have numerous adaptations in movies.
Nineteen films make up this long-running animation saga began that began it's career in the cinema in the late 80s and continued premiering one film a year until their latest ones 'Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods' and 'Dragon Ball Z: resurrection F'.
'Dragon Ball' also features an adaptation signed by James Wong, entitled 'Dragonball Evolution' and starring Justin Chatwin, Chow Yun-Fat and Emmy Rossum among others.
