Saga Austin Powers

'Austin Powers' is the name of the main character of a serie of movies with this character as a leading role. Austin Powers is a British spy created and starring by Mike Myers. At the moment, there are three movies: 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery' (Jay Roach, 1997), 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' (Jay Roach, 1999) and 'Austin Powers in Goldmember' (Jay Roach, 2002).

Mike Myers act as Austin Powers and his enemy Dr. Evil, but, with him, there are other actors as Elizabeth Hurley (Vanessa Kensington), Michael York (Johnny Mentero), Mimi Rogers (Vannia Kensington) and Robert Wagner (Number 2). At the second movie appears Heather Graham (Felicity Shagwell), Rob Lowe (Young Number 2) and Seth Green (Scott Evil). At the third movie we find Beyoncé Knowles (Foxxy Cleopatra), Mindy Sterling (Frau Farbissina) y Verne Troyer (Mini Me).

The saga has an evident inspiration in the Sixties movies of James Bond. In addition, 'Austin Powers' still the appearance and vocabulary of Sixties.
