Ten years ago, four survivors of the apocalypse wormed their way into our hearts thanks to the eccentricities of Columbus, Tallahassee's cantankerous personality, the sweetness and strength of Little Rock, and the acerbic humour of Wichita. Now, a decade after the premiere 'Zombieland', this dysfunctional family returns to the big screen in 'Zombieland: Double Tap'. We had the pleasure of sitting down to speak with the film's director, Ruben Fleischer ('Venom'), along with its stars, Woody Harrelson (Tallhassee) and Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), who told us why the second instalment of the franchise was ten years in the making.
The filmmaker and actors also dished what rules they'd go by to survive the zombie apocalypse as well as what object they'd use as a makeshift weapon to defend themselves against a hoard of the undead, with Woody Harrelson getting particularly creative with his answer. If you want to know what they had to say to these questions and to many more, don't miss the complete interview.
'Double Tap'
Fans of the first instalment will already have the 18th October marked down on their calendars as the day that Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Harrelson and Eisenberg will reunite once more to share a beer and have a laugh. Joining the cast are Rosario Dawson and Zoey Deutch (who has been highlighted as the best character of the bunch in the first batch of reviews). We'll be waiting with baited breath to find out why when 'Zombieland: Double Tap' hits cinemas on the 18th October.
