It has been five years since the car accident in which Paul Walker lost his life, and on what would have been his 45th birthday, his partner in the 'Fast and Furious' saga, Vin Diesel, paid homage to the actor in a post on Instagram.
"Five years since we celebrated your last birthday..not a day goes by.. Always." This is the caption accompanying the black and white photo that Diesel shared on Wednesday, which features both actors, although Walker's face is the main focus.
The protagonist of 'Fast and Furious 8' is not the only one who made use of social media in order to commemorate the fallen actor on his birthday; his brother, Cody Walker, also made a post on Instagram, saying: "You would be 45 today bro. We love you, miss you and try to honor you in the best ways we can. You were generous, thoughtful and a total badass. Always leading by actions rather than words and an inspiration to so many all over the world". In his Instagram message, Cody Walker also included a video in which he reminds us of the work done by Reach Out Worldwide (an organization founded by Paul Walker), saying that his brother left a part of himself within that project, which began after the earthquake in Haiti in 2010 and which will celebrate in October its fourth year of the online charity broadcast Game4Paul.
Exploring the Life of Paul Walker
This year, which marks five years since the death of Walker, Paramount Network has launched in the United States the documentary 'I am Paul Walker' in which we can get to know the actor in great detail via home videos, interviews with some of those closest to him, such as his brothers, Caleb, Cody, and Ashlie, and even with statements from Walker himself in which he explains the things in life which were truly important to him. The documentary, directed by Adrian Buitenhuis, was released in August of 2018 and is available in the UK and US.
