Tom Holland isn't just known for his role as the young Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, but also for being a huge fan of the superhero films. The actor has recently revealed he had the ultimate fan experience ahead of the release of 'Black Panther' when he got to see the film, not only before its release, but also in the comfort of none other than Robert Downey Jr.'s home.
"I actually got to see 'Black Panther' a little early by ringing Downey and asking him if he had a screener because he gets sent them all super early because he's the godfather", Holland told Comicbook. The actor's always been a fan of the MCU, and he fondly recalls, "seeing Avengers One so clearly". "I absolutely loved it", he remarked, continuing that, "ever since, I've been a huge fan, I've seen every film countless times".
Spider-Man's new 'Instant Kill' function
At the end of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', we got a glance at the superhero's upgraded suit and we'll get to see a lot more of it in 'Avengers: Infinity War'. The original suit and the upgraded one have both been designed by Tony Stark meaning they have a lot of advanced technology in their arsenal. One of the functions of the new suit is called 'Instant Kill', although Tom Holland has clarified that it might not do exactly what it says on the tin.
Speaking to Hey U Guys on the red carpet at the 'Infinity War' premiere in London, Holland mentioned, "I don't actually think the 'Instant Kill' function does what everyone thinks it does. I think it simply just shuts off electricity. I actually don't think its a killing-like, piece of tech. I don't think it's to murder people, I don't think Tony Stark's that dark... So, I don't know if 'Instant Kill' would work against Thanos".
'Avengers: Infinity War' hits UK cinemas on 26th April.
