The second Titanic ship will set sail in 2022. The boat will be an exact replica of the original, which featured rooms for 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members. The project, according to information from USA Today, will take several years to construct, due to its high cost of $500 million. While this may seem exciting, people are already very aware of the ominous undertones of such a journey, with nobody wanting to follow in the footsteps of Jack and Rose...
The new Titanic will make use of the superior navigation and security technology, and the opening journey will travel from Dubai to Southampton, where the Titanic II will then set sail towards New York along the same route as its predecessor. The poignant irony of this has not gone unnoticed by Twitter users, who have reacted with justified surprise with regards to the idea...

The Titanic II
This isn't the first time that a Titanic II has been thrown to the wind. In the world of cinema it already became a reality in 2012 with the film 'Titanic 2'; a B-Movie disaster from the Asylum producers. You can probably imagine the basic storyline... Let's hope that the real Titanic II doesn't suffer the same fate!
