In recent years we have witnessed the birth of a new kind of character. We're talking about the great minds behind TV studio Twitter accounts, of course, for they have often given us moments as entertaining as the TV shows themselves. The latest account to join in on the fun is 'The Walking Dead' account who recently trolled 'The Punisher' account.
The troll revolves around the fact that Jon Bernthal, who appeared in the first two series of TWD, is now protagonist in 'The Punisher'. It all started when the latter twitter account released a teaser, inviting fans to read between the lines to figure out when the next series will premiere.

At that point, 'The Walking Dead' account took the opportunity to joke about Bernthnal's character in the series.
We'll just assume it says "I'm Judith's real father." https://t.co/tQ1RcFlB8x

The tweet makes reference to the love triangle formed by Shane, Rick and Lori and the problems they faced in 'TWD'.
Netflix with the counterattack
After the troll on the behalf of the AMC show, Netflix decided to have its say:
We'll just assume it says "I'm Judith's real father." https://t.co/tQ1RcFlB8x

TWD fans will recognise the quip from the first episode of the series.
'The Punisher' simply responded with an appropriate GIF.

We still have to wait a few weeks before Season 8 of TWD airs - it will premiere on 23rd October. 'The Punisher' is due sometime before the end of the year.
