There've been a lot of rumours recently suggesting 'The Big Bang Theory' will come to an end in 2019 following it's twelfth season. As of yet, not even the cast themselves know anything, so we'll have be content with finding out when Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) plan on getting married. One of the executive producers for the show has let on that we'll find out this season.
Steve Holland spoke to TVLine and mentioned, "I think you will see a wedding [this season]. We haven't written the finale yet, but we've certainly been building to it all season". Originally, the date for a Sheldon-Amy wedding was rumoured to be set for next Autumn, and the event was due to mark the beginning of the show's thirteenth season. Now however, it seems as though we'll be hearing wedding bells ringing a lot sooner than anticipated.
Drama over naming the new child
As for the current season, Holland spoke out about the impending birth of Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) second child. In another interview with TVLine, the producer mentioned we won't be seeing the delivery scene, not only because he's not a fan of them but, "you've seen the scene of the woman in labor, breathing heavily, sweating and yelling at her husband so many times, it's hard to find a way to do that scene that hasn't been done before". Instead, majority of the episode will take place away from the delivery room and there'll be a lot of drama surrounding the child's name.
