'Kingsman' suffered a vital blow to its third film. Taron Egerton, the actor who played Eggsy in the first two installments in the franchise, has confirmed in an interview with Yahoo Movies that he is putting his character to the side for part three, which is again to be directed by Matthew Vaughn. However, in seems that Egerton has not said goodbye to the franchise forever, leaving the door open for him to return in a potential fourth installment in the saga.

Kingsman

"I don't know how hot off the press this is, and I think I'm allowed to say it, but I'm not in the next Kingsman movie," Egerton told Yahoo. "That doesn't mean I won't be in Kingsman ever again. I was with Matthew [Vaughn] as little as a few days ago, we're still very much in business together, but his next journey in that world doesn't involve me."

On the other hand, Egerton also highlighted that Vaughan had a great idea in development for 'Kingsman 3', describing it as "incredibly exciting", and saying, "I'm sad that I won't be on that journey with him but it's not the last you've seen of Eggsy."
