Whilst it had already been announced that Spielberg was working on a fifth 'Indiana Jones' instalment, many believed that with such a busy schedule, the project in question would be put on the back burner. However, the director has surprised us all by announcing that they'll begin shooting for the upcoming film in April of 2019, and it's all due to kick of in the UK.

"It's always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK. The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers - everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here", revealed Spielberg.

A matter of time

After Disney bought LucasFilm, many thought the former company would reboot the franchise. Shortly after those rumours died down, Spielberg revealed 'Indiana Jones 5' as one of his next projects.

We don't really know much else about the film, so as we await more news, we'll be sat patiently wondering whether it will able to set the franchise back on track. After the 2008 release of 'Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull' many began to question the future of cinema's most famous archaeologist.

'Indiana Jones 5' is set for release on 10th July 2020.
