Due to the huge publicity and non-stop talking about the movie, and the franchise and saga in general, we have discovered a few new things about 'Star Wars' that we didn't know about before. For example, one interesting fact was to do with the logo of the franchise. Suzy Rice is the creator of the famous logo and she has recently explained how the idea came about. It has been revealed that George Lucas wanted a a "very fascist and intimidating" logo.

The night before meeting with Lucas, Rice had read a book about German designs in which Joseph Goebbels used a range of uniformed letters to create the public posters. The font that he used influenced the font Helvetica, and Suzy Rice decided to follow suit by using Helvetica Black for the logo. Lucas accepted the design, only slightly changing the letter 'W'.

An undervalued artist

Roce, who has not been recognised for her work in the credits of the films, was asked if she feels she's been given enough credit for her work. She said "my answer is, yes, in the present tense. There were a few times over the past decades when the achievement seemed to generate terrible negativity, but those times no longer exist".
