A few months ago, all possibilities of another 'Sex and the City' film went out the window when it was revealed that Kim Cattrall (Samantha) didn't want to return to the saga. However, protagonist Sarah Jessica Parker, who recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, has revealed a bit more on the matter.
"She's not coming back, but you can still do it without her, right?", Degeneres questioned, with regard to Cattrall's exit. "I think there's a period of grief. A mourning process and then, perhaps, we'll be able to consider say, for instance, you playing Samantha", joked SJP. Degeneres then responded, "that's who I identify with on that show. That is me, I am a sexual beast", continuing the joke.
A third film? Yes or no?
Jokes aside, SJP proceeded to give a more serious response; "Last week, I said no because reality is a brutal companion. I feel like maybe, I don't know. I've just got to make up an answer because I don't know, you know? Who knows? Perhaps we'll find a way. Right now, I don't know", she concluded.
You can see the full interview for yourselves below, whilst we await more news. Would you watch a 'Sex and the City' film sans Cattrall?
