Quentin Tarantino's next project, entitled 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' is set for a US release on 9th August 2019. Filming for the project hasn't even begun yet, but the filmmaker Tarantino hasn't let that deter him from revealing new details about the production.
At the recent Sony Pictures Cinema Con event, Tarantino spoke of the film's protagonists: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio dubbing them, "the most exciting star dynamic duo since Robert Redford and Paul Newman". For his part, DiCaprio, who was also present at the event, added the film has, "one of the most amazing screenplays [Tarantino] has ever written".
"It takes place at the height of the counterculture explosion. It takes place at the time of the hippie revolution, and it takes place at the height of new Hollywood", revealed Tarantino. On top of that the filmmaker compared the upcoming project to 'Pulp Fiction' another of his works.
What to expect from 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'?
'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' is set to be Quentin Tarantino's latest work since the release of 'The Hateful Eight' back in 2015. Rumoured to be set in 1969, the film is to revolve around a television actor and his stunt double who are trying to make it in Hollywood. All of this is to happen against the backdrop of the Manson murders. The most famous victim, actress, Sharon Tate, will be played by Margot Robbie.
