This year's award's season has been a close one, and it's all about to come to a head with the announcement of the Oscar award nominations. The ceremony, due to take place on Sunday 4th March at the Dolby Theatre in LA, will feature various productions from 2017 that will compete to win the coveted golden statues.
The Academy announced the nominations on 23rd January from the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre. The nominations were available for viewing across many digital platforms and the most technical categories were announced to begin with (photography, wardrobe, set design).
We wonder which film will end up the big winner of 2018. All will be revealed on the evening of 4th March which is set to be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Here's the list of nominations:
