It's not been long since we brought you our predictions for the British Oscar winners of 2018, and just yesterday they were announced during the award ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Taking into account that we were only predicting the British productions, our guesses were, for the most part, pretty accurate: 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' actress, Frances McDormand won best actress and her co-star Sam Rockwell managed to take home best supporting actor. Gary Oldman won the title of best actor, and 'Darkest Hour' was awarded best make-up. 'Blade Runner 2049' managed to bag best visual effects and best cinematography. Finally, 'Dunkirk' as predicted, won best sound. Out of our nine predictions, seven ended up proving true!
