The wait is finally over. It's been a while since the team behind 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' unveiled the trailer preview full of new scenes, tension and a hell of a lot of action. The second trailer for the upcoming film just dropped and let it be known that Spanish director, Juan Antonio Bayona, is pulling out all of the stops for the 'Jurassic World' sequel.

One of the most impressive scenes from the new trailer belongs to that of the Indoraptor which promises to be the star of the show following on from the Indominus Rex in the last film. The beginning of the trailer sees Owen and Claire attempting to save a few species of dinosaurs after the destruction of the park and their struggles are more than enough to prove 'Fallen Kingdom' is going to be a lot more emotional than its predecessors. Despite all of that, however, the creators have still left room for a little humour.

Another noteworthy scene has to be the appearance of Dr. Ian Malcolm, once again welcoming us to Jurassic Park as the theme song to the saga plays on in the background.

 The new dinosaur

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning in 'Fallen Kingdom' as the protagonists, and they'll be accompanied by Jeff Goldblum who'll be reprising his role as Ian Malcolm, 10 years after having played the character in the first two films. No Bayona film would be complete without muse, Geraldine Chaplin who'll also have a role to play.

More action than ever

The upcoming film promises to explore never before seen territory with regard to the saga. Speaking to Empire, Bayona revealed, "in the centre [of the film] there is the biggest set-piece ever done for a Jurassic movie" and even compared the opening of the film to that of a James Bond production.

Those that have already seen the film admitted it's definitely a Bayona film and that "it has many scenes shot with the audience's enjoyment in mind", at least that's what the Spaniard revealed at the recent Festival of Malaga.

A park in ruins, erupting volcanoes and dinosaurs in danger of extinction are just some of the scenes we'll get to see when 'Fallen Kingdom' hits cinemas. The last film in the saga raked in $1.6 billion: we'll have to wait and see if the sequel can beat that!

'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' is set for UK release on 6th June.
