'Incredibles 2' will hit UK cinemas on 13th July 2018. US audiences will get to see the Brad Bird directed production a little under a month before, but let's face it, we've waited 14 years for a sequel, so what's a month longer? We already knew, thanks to the first few trailers for the 'Incredibles' sequel, that the Parr family would be up against a new villain, but until the release of the latest poster, we'd not even the slightest idea about who it could be.
We analysed the poster for the upcoming flick just last week, and if you haven't already seen it, take a look below: there are a handful of new characters in the background. The group, who we didn't see in 'The Incredibles' call themselves 'The Wannabes'.
Who are the unknown heroes?
After years of saving civilians in secret and the events of the first film involving Syndrome, there was only one question on everyone's mind: should superheroes return or do they suppose an even bigger danger for society? It's off the back of that question that 'The Wannabes' have risen.
So, without further ado, we introduce you to 'The Wannabes': Voyd a young Elastigirl super-fan capable of creating blackholes allowing her to manipulate her surroundings by moving things in and out of existence. Krushauer uses his power of telekineses to move things without even touching them, whilst, Brick possesses a super-strength to rival that of Mr. Incredible. Reflux has the ability to produce large quantities of lava and He-Lextrix can shoot lightning bolts. lastly, Screech has Owl-like abilities.
We were already eagerly anticipating the arrival of 'Incredibles 2' but now we're more excited than ever.
