It's already been announced that Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning will be reprising their roles in the 'Maleficent' sequel, but a new addition to the cast has now been announced. Michelle Pfeiffer is set to have a huge role to play in the film. Can you guess which it may be?
According to Screen Rant, the actress is in negotiations regarding her contract, but her role isn't set to be a small one. The signs are suggesting Pfeiffer's role will be that of the Queen, wife to King Stefan from the first film, although it's just as likely that she'll be playing a Queen from a far-off land. Everything's being kept pretty secret, for now.

Upon its release, back in 2014, 'Maleficent' was a huge success, raking in around $758 million globally. That total was enough to convince both Disney and Jolie to consider a sequel. Oscar nominated Joachim Rønning, known for his work on 'Kon-Tiki' and the recent, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales', is set to direct the upcoming film. Ed Skrein is to play the villain of the film. Disney are yet to announce further details about the 'Maleficent' sequel, but one thing's for sure, with Pfeiffer alongside Jolie, this film's set to be one to watch!
