HBO supervisor, Francesca Orsi, recently let on to new clues about the last episode of the final season of 'Game of Thrones' during a conference in Israel.
Speaking about the initial readings of the scripts, Orsi revealed "It was a really powerful moment in our lives and our careers", continuing that, "none of the cast had received the scripts prior, and one by one they started falling down to their deaths".
The deaths don't really come as much of a shock to us fans anymore but that's not to say we can't wait for the series to return to the small screen in 2019. The reading concluded with a standing ovation and "by the very end, everyone looked down and looked up and tears were in their eyes", mentioned Orsi.
Return date
An exact premiere date is still unknown, but HBO Casey Bloys defended the choice to air the season in 2019. Bloys stated HBO and the creators of the series want to bring fans an ending they'll be proud of.
Since then, many fans have attempted to guess the possible storyline for the upcoming and final season as well as a potential release date. One of the latest rumours to surface suggested Maisie Williams had confirmed the season would air during April 2019. The actress denied the claims over her social network pages.
