Recently, actor, Jamie Dornan, who plays billionaire business mogul, Christian Grey in the infamous 'Fifty Shades' saga explained why there's no frontal nude scenes in the latest film, 'Fifty Shades Freed'. According to Dornan, "If I don't think it adds anything or I don't deem it to be necessary to move the story along, then I don't think you need to see that part of me". (Digital Spy). The actor also told E! that, "We're not making porn, as much as people think we are". Director, James Foley has since spoken on the topic.
Foley revealed that they did actually film full frontal nude scenes with Dornan, but none of those scenes actually made the final cut. "I'm being totally honest, it just didn't come off... Full frontal would have been a kind of deliberate cut, to see that for no reason"
All round success
Despite not appearing fully naked in 'Fifty Shades Freed', the film seems to be doing pretty well since its release last Friday 9th February. The third and final film in the 'Fifty Shades' saga has already earned around $136.6 million worldwide. A large part of that sum is thanks to the film's success stateside.
