Do you want to build a snowman? Or perhaps a theme park? Exciting news has just dropped for the fans of the 'Frozen' franchise that weren't quite ready to bid farewell to the snowy kingdom of Arendelle. As detailed by ComicBook, Disneyland Paris has announced its plans to expand the park to include Frozen Land, a section of the theme park based on the iconic franchise, by 2023.

The blueprints for Frozen land in Disneyland Paris, set to open its doors in 2023

Disney recently released the detailed blueprints for the world of Frozen and it's safe to say that any fan of Elsa and Anna will adore this life-size interpretation of Ardenelle. The land will boast a 7.5 acre lake and sweeping fjords nestled between which spectacular water shows will take place designed to awe and amaze adults and children alike. Not even one moment of the magic will be lost thanks to the innovative 360 degrees seating. The nucleus of the park will be a grand replica of the ice palace bordered by snowy mountains that will form the perfect backdrop for you to belt out 'Let It Go' and release your inner Idina Menzel.

It remains unknown as to whether this palace will be the location of the meet and greets, though it is likely that the citizens of Arendelle, from Elsa and Anna to Olaf, Kristoff and the ever-faithful reindeer Sven will be wandering down the cobblestones to introduce themselves to the fans of 'Frozen' and its recent sequel. Perhaps you'll find the Queen of Arendelle in the Frozen-themed restaurant that will be located within the park. Although we've yet to find out what the menu entails, we expect that it involves a considerable quantity of carrots for the reindeers and, given the tastes of the sister princesses, a veritable mountain of chocolate.

Disneyland says that Frozen land will

In the official statement published by Disneyland Paris, the park confirms that "In the coming years, guests will have even more Frozen experiences with a new themed area dedicated to the story, which is part of the multi-year expansion of the Walt Disney Studios Park". The statement goes on to detail the developments set to take place over the next few years: "As part of the fully immersive land, guests will see in the distance the snow-capped mountain of Arendelle opposite a magnificent lake, with an attraction that will take them to the center of the Kingdom. The area will also include character encounters, a new restaurant and a shop, which will secure a permanent presence of this beloved franchise at Disneyland Paris".

They say that love is an open door and we can't wait to walk through this one in 2023.

For 'Frozen' Fans Before 2023

2023 seems an eternity away for the most ardent fans of the saga but luckily for them, there are still plenty of attractions based on the duology to enjoy before Frozen Land hits Paris in three years' time.

In Disneyland Paris, 'Frozen: A Musical Invitation' remains going strong: a show in which a series of stage are slotted together on which different characters from the films perform songs and dances whilst interacting with the audience. Whether you want to sing 'Let It Go' with Elsa or chat about the numerous benefits of summer with Olaf, 'Frozen: A Musical Invitation' is a charming show for fans of the community of Arendelle.

As well as Arendelle, Disneyland Paris has also brought a bit of the USA to its parks with the Frozen Ever After attraction, a boat ride originally founded in Walt Disney World. In this attraction, you can travel through Arendelle on a nordic-esque vessel that evokes the Scandinavian inspirations behind the story whilst the iconic soundtrack echoes around you.
