Just last October, British actor, Charlie Heaton was deported from the States after having been found in the possession of drugs at LAX. The incident meant that Heaton couldn't make the premiere of the second season of 'Stranger Things' that took place in Los Angeles.

Costume designer, Kim Willcox with whom Heaton works on the series revealed "I think he's a good man and I think he's made some great decisions in his life and maybe this was just a time where something slipped."

Many fans were worried that Heaton's character, Jonathan Byers would be effected by the incident, but alas the actor has spoken out. "Yeah, it's all sorted now. We go back in April so I plan to go back to America next month, and yes, I can go back", he revealed to Flaunt Magazine.

As well as confirming his return to 'Stranger Things' for a third season, Heaton spoke at length about the drugs incident, "It was fucking awful. It was just awful... It was hard. Everything happened so fast, and I hadn't come to terms with the fact that I was famous. When something steps in from the work you are doing and breaks into your personal life...you feel kind of vulnerable. All of a sudden it becomes a very big story and it gets really blown out of proportion. At the end of the day I just wanted to go back. I want to work and continue to work - that's all I've ever done".

Despite having confirmed his return, Heaton also revealed he's no idea what's about to go down in the Netflix series. "I don't know, I've not seen the script! I know they're writing it at the moment and we'll find out soon - we'll see. I'm interested in the love triangle -

Jonathan and Nancy are now together. I'm interested to see where it goes".

Heaton is set to appear in the upcoming film 'The New Mutants', a new Marvel 'X-Men' franchise set for UK release in 2019. The actor will play Sam Guthrie or Canonball and will share the screen with Anya Taylor-Joy with whom he worked on 'Marrowbone' and Maisie Williams from 'Game of Thrones'.
