After years of speculation, Sony have finally announced that 'Bad Boys 3' is to go ahead after having found new directors. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who are also set to direct 'Beverly Hills Cop IV' have reached an agreement with the production company to work on the third installment to 'Bad Boys'.
Back in March 2017, former director Joe Carnahan, who'd been linked to the upcoming film for more than 2 years, left the project. The director's exit meant even further delays for the installment which was due almost 15 years after the last film.
However, it appears that we'll finally get to see the film, thanks to an announcement from Sony which revealed that production on 'Bad Boys 3' is due to start in August of this year. In September 2017, producer Jerry Bruckheimer spoke about reviving the saga when Chris Bremmer was appointed as the screenplay writer. The latter also worked on 'Sick Day'.
The comebacks
Both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence who portrayed Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett respectively have already confirmed their return to the saga. Not much else is known about the film or its cast, but we'll bring you more news as we get it!
