Just this 4th April, Marvel unveiled no less than 22 new posters of its various characters for its upcoming film 'Avengers: Infinity War'. As with all things MCU, fans of the franchise didn't hesitate in overanalysing the posters in a vain attempt to find out just what may be in store for us come 26th April.
IMAX have also released a series of posters, and in their collection, fans spotted two outlines that resemble Ant-Man. As far as the Marvel posters are concerned, fans haven't been so lucky: What they did find, however, is that the posters for Captain America, Bucky Barnes and Spider-Man have each been edited in a similar way.
While Captain America (Chris Evans) and the winter soldier (Sebastian Stan) are each facing away from us, it's as clear as day in the Spider-Man (Tom Holland) poster that his crotch has been edited out, leaving the superhero without his infinity stones. Some Twitter users had a look into the practice and learned such editing isn't unusual in images of superheroes. The same procedure was applied to promotional images for 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'. Did you see his basket (or lack thereof) when it was on the cover of @EW ? It was pretty hysterical. Let me see if I can find it. pic.twitter.com/C9yHy3z9g8

Notable absences
Aside from the editing, the lack of a Hawkeye poster also caught fans' attention. The character is played by Jeremy Renner and it's still unknown whether he'll make an appearance in 'Infinity War'. One fan saw it fit to create their own poster, rectifying Marvel's oversight.
