With only a few months left until the premiere of the long-awaited (and yet to be titled) sequel to Marvel´s Avengers Infinity War, directed by the Russo brothers, photos continue to be leaked from the filmset. Images from a reshoot of unfinished scenes have surfaced, featuring three of the protagonists: Captain America, Black Widow, and Ant-man. These photos have sparked the curiosity of eager fans as these characters, particularly the two former, have drastically changed their appearances since we last saw them in the final battle with Thanos.
Chris Evans, who stars in the role of Captain America, appears to have ditched the signature beard, which was sported by his character in the previous film, in favour of a clean-shaven look.

Meanwhile Scarlett Johanson, as Black Widow, has exchanged her ice-blonde bob for long red hair with a blonde highlights.

Paul Rudd (Ant-man) also featured in the leaked photos, apparently preparing to join his coworkers on set. Rudd´s appearance could mean that (spoiler alert) his character will manage to escape the Quantum World to which he is sent in the post credits scene of Ant-man and The Wasp, after the click of Thanos´fingers. However, a conflicting theory is that these photos indicate a possible flashback in the Avengers´timeline, which would also explain the sudden change in the appearance of the two other characters.

More Fan Theories
In addition to the aforementioned photos, Mark Ruffalo, who plays the role of Bruce Banner in the franchise, has stated that the special effects in this film are even more spectacular than before. Ruffalo said that he hopes for a resolve in the conflict between Banner and The Hulk, which was shown in Avengers Infinity War, so that they might join forces in order to help their friends.
However, all this sheds little light on the ever mysterious plot of the final Avengers film; we must all wait in anticipation of May 3rd 2019 so we may continue to enjoy the epic battle of the superheroes against Thanos.
