The young talent, most famous for his work on 'Star Trek' and various other independent films passed away on 16th June 2016 in a car accident on his driveway as the actor arrived home. It was revealed Anton Yelchin had left his car in neutral as he exited the vehicle. The Jeep then rolled back, fatally crushing the actor against a gate and brick pillar.
This weekend, a statue was unveiled, accompanying the actor's tomb in the Hollywood Forever cemetery. Photographer, David Livingston from Getty Images captured some of Yelchin's former co-stars, who visited the actor's final resting place in order to pay their respects. Stars such as, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, J.J Abrams, Jon Voight and Jennifer Lawrence were in attendance at the unveiling.
During the inauguration, Yelchin's parents and friends, including Zoe Saldana, spoke at large, honouring the late actor. A mural created by fans at a recent 'Star Trek' convention was also visible at the Hollywood Forever cemetery along with various photos depicting Anton Yelchin at different stages of his life. The bronze statue created in the actor's honor was sculpted by Nick Marra and FX artist, Greg Nicotero. Anyone who wants to visit the sculpture is welcome.

As with many actors who pass away long before their time, Anton has left behind a series of films yet to premiere. This year we've been able to see Anton Yelchin at his best once more in 'Rememory' with Peter Dinklage. Next Year Yelchin will star in and 'Thoroughbreds' with Anya Taylor-Joy. The actor also voiced Jim Lake Junior in Guillermo del Torro's animated television series, 'Trollhunters'.
