From the creators of the Starbucks coffee cup in 'Game of Thrones' comes a new instalment in the series of monumental mistakes in filming. In this case, the series that brings us this particular goof is '9-1-1', the FOX show about the lives of a group of emergency service workers, who in the latest episode forgot to remove a considerable portion of the green screen.
In the third episode of the season, 'The Searchers', the main characters meet a hospital patient who has had to have his arm amputated. However, rather miraculously, the patient still has the arm in question, wrapped up in a green screen. The crew forgot to digitally erase the limb before the episode aired. Fans who noticed the error during the scene didn't waste time in commenting on it on social media.

The mistake in this episode is especially surprising in light of the latest episodes of the series, in which a tsunami had started to arrive at the coasts surrounding '9-1-1'. The social media account of the series published a video commenting on these scenes and explaining their complex production, which caught the attention of fans due to the clear contrast with the error in this episode. The series no stranger to using striking images such as these, with a prime example being the scenes of an earthquake affecting Los Angeles in the previous season.

Despite this faux pas by production, fans continue to rave about this Ryan Murphy series, who is also the creative mind behind several projects including 'Glee', 'American Horror Story' and, most recently, 'The Politician'. This time, the series focuses on those in charge of attending to emergencies in the city of Los Angeles, from the police force to firefighters to other public services that form part of the first response to dangerous situation. Such a situation can be anything from commonplace to devastating, such as the aforementioned tsunami that shook the city at the start of the third season. '9-1-1' stars Angela Bassett ('Black Panther'), Peter Krause ('Six Feet Under') and Jennifer Love Hewitt ('Ghost Whisperer'), and its third season is broadcasting now.
