"Get ready for 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' in 100 days". That's all it took for Chris Pratt to put us on edge as we await the premiere of the 'Jurassic World' sequel.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' actor posted a video onto his Instagram page reminding us that 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' is set to hit US cinemas on 22nd June. "65 million years in the making... 100 days away", wrote the actor in a caption accompanying his post.
Us UK viewers won't have to wait as long as our Stateside neighbours, for, the production, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, will premiere on 8th June.
What we know so far
The upcoming film is set to explore ground never before seen in the 'Jurassic Park' saga. In a recent interview for Empire, Bayona compared one of the action scenes to that of a 'James Bond' film before continuing that, "in the centre there is the biggest set-piece ever done for a Jurassic movie".
A park in ruins, erupting volcanoes and dinosaurs in danger of extinction are just some of the scenes we'll get to see in 'Fallen Kingdom'. Chris Pratt will be returning to the franchise alongside Bryce Dallas Howard and Jeff Goldblum, the latter whom will be reprising his role after more than 10 years following his appearance in the first two films.
