Plot
After Jesus has lived on the street for 10 years, he now begins his social reintegration in a foster home and with a new work program. The years begin to pass and the absence of total freedom forces him to leave the program and seek his own path and autonomy.
Despite the great effort to carve out his own destiny, without the possibility of being able to access a job and a stable home, the threat of becoming homeless again is a reality more than noticeable. In this way, Jesus desperately seeks an alternative where Elena, the coordinator of the shelter apartment becomes the only emotional link he has.
This film, which represents "the struggle of a man not to return to the street", 71 minutes long, is directed by Octavio Guerra, where the director wanted to make an "anthropological approach and away from paternalism about people who at some point in their lives have had a street situation".
The film, starring Elena Matamala and Jesús Mira, has won several awards such as the Semilleru Lab Award at the Gijón International Film Festival in 2022, Best Platform Project at VLC Docs Valencia 2020 and the Docsmx Impact Lab award.
