Recovering the original
For the first time in 20 years, the 1950's design is used for Woody Woodpecker. It last appeared in the final theatrical short cartoon, 'Bye, Bye, Blackboard', but was still used for many years as the official look of Woody Woodpecker.

Although shot in Squamish, British Columbia and spoken entirely in English, the main market for this film is Brazilian. Woody Woodpecker is a well-known character in the country and reruns of the original cartoon can still be seen on TV to this day.
Repeating Paper
This is the second time Eric Bauza plays a character that was previously voiced by Billy West. The first time was Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon (2003).
