Wolfwalkers

Cartoon Saloon, the animation studio behind marvelous films like 'The Secret of Kells', 'Song of the Sea' or 'The Breadwinner', is back with another masterpiece: 'Wolfwalkers'. Directed by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart, who also came up with the story, the film takes us to a fortified village in Ireland whose people try not to leave because the forest that surrounds it is filled with wolves. Robyn is the daughter of the huntsman, and she can't wait to follow her father's footsteps, but that's not what is expected for a lady like her. One day she manages to escape and she meets a girl with red hair named Mebh in the woods. She seems to be able to control the wolves, but it's because she's a wolfwalker, and when she falls asleep she transforms into a wolf, just like her mother. Mebh asks Robyn for help to find her mother, who disappeared time ago leaving her human body behind. In some countries, the film could open in cinemas, it will be available internationally through Apple TV+. Cartoon Saloon keeps trusting their talent into traditional animation in 'Wolfwalkers', that has Honor Kneafsey, Eva Whittaker, Sean Bean, Simon McBurney, Tommy Tiernan, Jon Kenny, John Morton y Maria Doyle Kennedy as its main cast.
