Plot
'Wilson' is a 2017 American comedy-drama based on the novel with the same name written by Daniel Clowes. Directed by Craig Johnson, it tells the story of Wilson (Woody Harrelson), a lonely but honest middle-aged man who reunites with his estranged wife (Laura Denn). After speaking with her, he soon discovers he has a teenage daughter (Isabella Amara) who after many years didn't know he had. With this in mind, he sets out to meet his daughter for the first time.
The cast also includes actors such as Judy Greer (Jurrassic World), David Warshosky (The Two Faces of January) and Cheryl Hines (The Ugly Truth). The film is distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Difficulties in locations
Several scenes were filmed at the Ramsey County Correctional Facility in St. Paul Minnesota, which is a working correctional facility. While filming in the jail, Woody Harrelson asked for the air conditioning to be turned off. This request was denied due to the inconvenience that it would place on the officers, staff, and inmates of the facility.
