Wilde Mouse

'Wilde Mouse' introduces us in the story of George (Josef Hader), a man of 50 years old who is fired from the newspaper company after having worked all his life as a journalist speacialized in musical critic. However, George will seek revenge on his boss and the company. George will be the one who damages the company every night and these damages will be increased as time goes by. On the other side, he will meet an old school partner and his girlfriend, who are unemployed as he is. The three of them decide to restore an abandon roller-coaster that was closed a long time ago, but this job won't be as easy as they expected to be.

The film is the cinematic debut of the director Josef Halder ('Stefan Zweig: Farewell to Europe', 'Das ewige Leben'). This usual actor of the Austrian cinema also writes and stars the movie. 'Wilde Mouse' is produced by Veit Heiduschka and Michael Katz. Both are known by their work in Michael Haneke's movies such as 'Amour', 'The Piano Teacher' and 'The White Ribbon'.
