Whiplash

Andrew Neyman (Miles Teller) is a young jazz drummer, who only has in mind to live up to meet the demands of the successful elite conservatory that attends. Marked by the experiences of his failed father, a budding writer, Andrew looking day and night to become one of the greats drummers of the country. Terence Fletcher (J. K. Simmons), instructor known for both his talent for teaching as for his terrible methods, leads a group of jazz in high school. Andrew Fletcher discovers and transfers Andrew to his band, which at first is a dream come true for Andrew, will become a nightmare due to the high demands of Fletcher. This will lead to a spiral of challenges that will change both their lives.
