When the Bough Breaks

John (Morris Chestnut) and Laura (Regina Hall) are a young couple looking to settle down and start a family. However, they soon find out they are unable to conceive. Running out of options, they decide to hire a surrogate mother, by the name of Anna (Jaz Sinclair) to carry the baby to term. Initially, this seems to be the perfect solution, with Anna appearing a delight. However, as Anna's pregnancy blossoms, so does something darker and more sinister. Anna develops complex regarding John, fixating more and more on the soon-to-be-father, willing to do anything to seduce him. Too late, the young couple realize they are caught in an insidious game of cat and mouse. And Anna will stop at nothing to gain her prize.
