Plot
In a not so distant future overpopulation and famine have forced governments to undertake a drastic policy that forces the families to have only one child. In this dystopian future seven identical sisters (all of them played by Noomi Rapace) live a hide-and-seek existence assuming the identity of one person: Karen Settman. Raised and taugh by their grand father Terrence (Willem Dafoe) they are named after the days of the week and they can only leave the house where they live the day of their name. They are only free to be themselves in the prison of their own home. One day, Monday does not come back home, so her sisters will have to try to avoid to be captured and executed in order to look after her.

The main characters named after the days of the week share the identity of Karen Settman. In Italian "week" is "settimana". This hasn't been directly acknowledged but could be a subtle joke.
