Wendy

The classic children's tale 'Peter Pan' is retold in this fresh and spell-binding epic directed by Benh Zietlin. The iconic character of Wendy Darling (Tommie Lynn Milazzo and Devin France) takes centre stage as she is taken away from the safety of her home to a wild, overgrown island where a mysterious sort of pollen as disturbed time and slowed aging. There, Wendy meets an enigmatic and raucous young boy named Peter Pan (Yashua Mack) and the two try to survive their youth and retain their spirit of joy in this rugged landscape as the disrupted ecosystem veers towards destruction.

Benh Zeitlin ('Beasts of the Southern Wind', 'Glory at Sea', 'The Origins of Electricity') writes and directs. Eliza Zeitlin co-writes the script. Joining the producing team are Becky Glupczynski ('Maria Full of Grace', 'Ordinary World', 'I Origins'), Dan Janvey ('Heart of a Dog', 'Brimstone & Glory', 'Contemporary Color'), Paul Mezey ('We the Animals', 'Another Earth', 'We've Forgotten More Than We Ever Knew') and Josh Penn ('Monsters and Men', 'Farewell Amor', 'Shot in the Dark'). In charge of bringing the world of Neverland to life through the soundtrack is Dan Romer ('Atypical', 'Ramy', 'Maniac'). 'Wendy' is currently set for cinematic release in February 2020, distributed by 20th Century Fox.
