Plot
There is a bank completely different from any other, absolutely impregnable. No one has been able to rob that bank, there are no plans or data, and nobody knows how the vault inside the vault was built. The engineer Thom Laybrick (Freddie Highmore) is not afraid of anything, all he thinks is to enter that vault and steal a mysterious object inside. An object that will only be there for 10 days. During this time, a highly anticipated football final will be held in Spain, so Laybrick will have a golden opportunity to enter the bank without anyone seeing it. Everyone will stop during this moment, so it will be the perfect opportunity, and yet it will not be easy to get it.
The film premieres in Spain on November 27 of this year 2020, and it is a Spanish production, headed by Jaume Balagueró, who has already participated as director in other important projects such as 'Musa' or 'Rec 4: Apocalypse'. The film stars Freddie Highmore, an international actor with a lot of renown, known for series like 'The Good Doctor'. Trivia
Un poquito
Highmore foreshadowed his character will speak a bit of spanish in the film.
A special day
The filming of one of the scenes in Banco de España coincided the same day as the celebrations and protest march for the memory of the third spanish Repubic. The protest marched a few kilometres from the shooting location and a lot of streets near La Plaza de Cibeles were closed.
Parallelisms
Freddie Highmore was in Cibeles Square in 2012 celebrating Spain's victory in Eurocope 2012 and singing nacional songs with everyone. Seven years after, the actor had to record that exact situation in the same place, but about Spain's victory at 2010 World Cup.
