Long career

Internationally known for his collaboration with directors Michelangelo Antonioni (notably 'Red Desert' and 'Blow Up') and Woody Allen (for whom he worked on ten films over a period of ten years). Di Palma received a lifetime achievement award at the European Film Awards in 2003.

Parentage

Uncle of cinematographer Dario Di Palma.
