Warriors

'Warriors' is a documentary directed by Barney Douglas. This documentary focus on the story of a young group of Maasai from a region of Kenya. In this Maasai village, men are in charge and women don't even have their basic rights. They suffer from female genital mutilations and they are forced to be married at a very young ages. These practices are one of the reasons of why they're suffering from AIDS and dying. The young group of Maasai play cricket to ease their frustrations about this inequality, dreaming of a life beyond the village. They even get the chance to go to England, home of cricket. This opportunity will give them courage to face their elders to abolish these harmful practices on Maasai women.
