Plot
'Walls can Talk' is a documentary film in which the famous Aragonese film director Carlos Saura jumps back in front of the camera to reveal the secrets hidden in the walls that surround us.
It is an instructive pictorial tour, a journey that goes from the prehistoric paintings that filled the caves with lhuge representations of animals and everyday prints, to the modern graffiti that today floods the streets with color, style and also social criticism.
The director, who has numerous national and international awards to his credit, has surrounded himself with experts in the field such as the archaeologist and student of human evolution Juan Luis Arsuaga. In addition, the world of art, how could it be otherwise, has a great presence in the documentary part of this film. 'Walls Can Talk' is the loudspeaker that Saura wants to provide to street artists who usually hide in the most absolute anonymity. This film is a medium in which to listen to renowned streets artists such as the graffiti artist Zeta, the acclaimed Mallorcan painter Miguel Barceló, or the multidisciplinary urban artist Suso33, to bring out the secrets that the walls that protect and embrace us still hide.
This film is scripted by José Morillas, director of 'La pasión del Prado', together with Saura and produced by María del Puy Alvarado.
